Prisoners and Varsity-level Sentence. Entry #5
Everyone is equal. Every person deserves to be treated humanely, fair and just. And so do prisoners. I believe that every person deserves a second chance. For some prisoners, they may have their own reasons for the crime they committed. It could be out of force, and desperation. For some other prisoners, they might have committed the crime when they were out of their complete senses or mentally imbalance. They lost their wise judgment and they accidentally let their emotions take over control. What's the point of costing a person his or her entire life for something that he or she had only done once and he or she actually regrets most for doing it? Varsity-level sentence will somehow make them realize that second chances are very valuable and they might actually appreciate life even more. Besides that, they should know that the second chance given to them is their only opportunity to prove to the society that they are no longer the same person they once were. In addition, after their period of being imprisoned which is the getting released part is administrated, they might actually get the opportunity of being hired for the skills they gained during the time they received their sentences. This will make them feel included and needed in the community. Varsity-level sentence as the "second chance" for the prisoners is essential in order to create a more open-minded nation and to drive the force towards a brighter future of individuals at every stage of the hierarchy. "To err is human". Everyone makes mistakes. That's why pencils have erasers.

Hollywood and their movies. Entry #4
Hollywood is the general name for the cinema of the United States. It has complete impact on cinematography and often inspires filmmakers across the globe with its excellent results and outstanding performances. When making a film, Hollywood often involves the discrete stages of initial story, idea and commission. All of these stages are done through scriptwriting, casting, shooting, editing and screening the outputs that are then brought to the audience by releasing the film. Hollywood considers filmmaking in terms of economic, social and political. Typically, Hollywood's goals are to make their profit needs met. This has automatically made them think that it is very crucial to always achieve their goals in any way possible, even if it involves deceiving the audience. The reason why they commit such a thing is because they want to spice up their movies and thus boost their sales collections. This act of exaggeration is very negative and may result in minor or even major violation in their minds.

People and Stereotyping. Entry #3
Stereotyping is something that commonly committed by people in the society these days and has somehow become a norm. For some regions across the globe, it has become a cultural phenomenon. Stereotyping is often present due to individualism. People tend to misinterpret that will lead them to being judgmental. They are inclined to criticize severely and unfavorably. Once stereotype is unleashed, social judgment will be affected. They influence how we view the person. People who practice stereotyping believe, "My personality is me, and my attitude depends on you." All they see is negativity and they are often seen as insecure.

Entry #2 : The statement clearly refers to the biologically disable to conceive kind-of-couples. These kinds of couples often feel lonely and unoccupied due to the fact that they do not have a child to nurture. Every now and then, they tend to feel pressured by their surroundings and even by themselves through excessive amount of overthinking. They think that the state of being barren or the inability to conceive a child is a disgraceful sight and thought to the society. This circumstance can somehow mislead them into committing something that's somehow immoral yet a noble thing to do, both at once. To deal with their frustration, these couples think that the only way out from their predicament is by purchasing the less fortunate babies on the black market. They may be seen self-centered, however, a look at a brighter side changes everything. These couples have brought a betterment of the upbringing of the child. The person that holds the responsibility for selling the babies may be seen devious but on the other hand, they have somehow helped these unfortunate couples to chase butterflies again. After all, it's a win-win situation.
Expectations and Hopes for Critical Literacy
As I left the third semester last year, I was really thrilled to know what would I be facing in the fourth one? The subjects, the lecturers and all the "this and that" that I needed to know. As usual, I heard all the Communication-based subjects. The presentations, the assessments, the assignments and whatnot. But there was this one subject I hardly heard of previously. When I heard the name "Critical Literacy", I did not even have a single picture in mind of how it works. "Critical Literacy"? Is it, literature? Or is it about the ability of oneself to use the English language distinctively? I was really surprised that it was nothing like those I guessed. Critical Literacy is all about an extreme approach towards a text (article/journal). It nurtures students to actively participate in the thinking process and be challenging thinker. From the very beginning, it has by far been the most interesting subject I have learned in college. I do have my own set of expectations. Out of this subject, I hope to become a good writer as a student and in the future, I dream to make myself an excellent story writer someday. I'm no big fan of writing factual points, I would much rather let my imaginations run wild and free. (:
